Migrate Creates Social Buzz for 2016 Pheasant Fest

Migrate Outdoor was in Kansas City for the 2016 Pheasant Fest and Quail Classic. The outdoor marketing firm was tasked with creating a series of social media video posts for Pheasants Forever.

“Our goal is to capture the excitement of over 20,000 upland game hunters, conservationists and sport dog enthusiasts gathered in one place” says Mark Smither, VP Strategic Director for Migrate. “So far, it has been an incredible experience.”

The Migrate content team, led by videographer Derek Baune and Account Specialist Allyse Thaler, has been busy interviewing Pheasant Fest sponsors, speakers and attendees all weekend long.

The first “Welcome to Pheasant Fest” video posted to Pheasant Forever’s Facebook page generated over 14,000 views in 48 hours. The “Day 1 Recap” video received 10,400 videos in 24 hours.

Anthony Hauck, Director of Public Relations for Pheasant Forever commented, “The Migrate folks have helped us showcase the nation’s signature upland event like never before. This event has always been more than just a sport show, and the digital expertise from Migrate Outdoor has allowed us to convey that to a valuable online audience.”
